At 24, Dr. Samia Ezzine moved from her home country, Tunisia, to Canada, where she has spent nearly 25 years building a successful life and career. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new culture and the feeling of not belonging, she demonstrated remarkable courage and resilience that have defined her personal and professional journey.
Dr. Ezzine is a distinguished pharmacist with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Renowned for her expertise in drug development, she holds a pharmacy degree, a master’s degree in drug metabolism and pharmacogenetics, and a PhD in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD). Her career spans the full spectrum of drug development, from early discovery to late-stage clinical trials and medical affairs. She currently serves as a Chief Scientific Officer in North America, playing a vital role in advancing innovative healthcare solutions.
Beyond her impressive professional accomplishments, Dr. Ezzine is a devoted mother of twins. Her personal journey through heartbreak and divorce has been marked by immense inner strength and emotional growth.
